The Summer Season is coming to and end. We want to thank all the teams and players who participated in this

the referees and workers who make this possible also. They do a great job and are good people. So now we want to announce
the players who are on the All-Star Team for this summer season. These All-Stars will play a game against the All-Stars

Sunday September 21st Scoreboard:
Atl Outkasts
72
B-Team 79 triple overtime
B-Team after losing their first two games, have won 6 in a row. They are the hottest team in the league right now! This
game was close from the start. Tied at halftime, tied after regulation, and it took 3 overtimes to decide this one. But the
B-Team hit clutch basket after clutch basket down the strectch. Maybe most exciting game of the season. A very suprising first
season at that for B-Team, with some fresh talent inside the paint. #23 Johnnie Hughes continues to improve his game and looks
like a superstar in the making. This team should give the Teddy Bears a run for the championship! With veteran guard #33 Marvin
Santiago leading this team they have made a name for themselves this first season.
Max-Out
76
Happy Market 51
Max-Out have their first
back to back wins finally. A very dissapointing season for this team. But they look to have some new life after some roster
changes. Will they do anything in the playoffs? We will see. Well we want to thank Happy Market for competing in the league,
but unfortunately the could not win a game all season. Remember practice makes perfect.

Pikachu

Pikachu needed a bounce back game after some tough losses the past few weeks. And today's game was a big
help in getting their confidence back. Can this team get over the hump and competed against the elite teams? Showstopers's
Jaspal Bathal is a good player on a bad team. He currently is the league's leading scorer, but have no wins to show for.
Will he stick around with them or find a new team?

Sunday September 7th Scoreboard:
Hungover
85
Happy Market 70
Happy Market offensively played much better,
but their defense is no where to be found yet. Hungover continues to roll with #15 Brian and #2 James Yi scoring at will on
Happy Market.
Supreme Court 65
Max-Out
61
Max-Out loses once again, and look very horrible on defense. #3 Ron Reyes of Supreme Court shredded their defense
in the second half, and hit some clutch buckets down the stretch. These two teams are moving in opposite directions. Supreme
Court is improving week by week. While Max-Out is struggling at all parts of the game.
Atl Outkasts
46
Teddy Bears 68
Well the game of the week started out
pretty competive, but Atl Outkasts worst enemies did them in. Themselves. With #12 Atif Sajid lighting it up all season,
the Outkasts were undefeated until this game. Atif might have the purest jump shot in all of asian basketball, but his team
sometimes implodes when they are faced with adversity. And they did exactly that. The Teddy Bears showed that they are the
class of the league, with their usual team concept. Everyone pitched in on defense and offense to slowly fustrate the Outkasts
all game. Tony Akins fouling out with 10 minutes left in the game did not help either. The Teddy Bears played their best game
of the season, while the Outkasts played their worst.

Game to Watch:
Atl Outkasts vs Teddy Bears
This is a repeat of last season's Championship Game. The Teddy Bears are the reigning champs, but the Atl Outkasts
are looking to prove they are the best team in Atlanta! The Teddy Bears have never lost to Outkasts in league play, and overall
they have only 1 loss to the Atl Outkasts for as long as they been playing each other. Will the Teddy Bears show that they
are still the team to beat? This will be a matchup of two giants in Atlanta asian basketball! See you Sunday!

Wednesday September 23: Good Competitive Basketball!
If you were at the gym on Wednesday night, you were witness to some good basketball games. The league schedule brought
out some intriguing matchups.
Teddy Bears 66
Hungover
62 Overtime
This was matchup of two similiar style of teams. Both teams like to shoot from the 3 point line. And
both teams have good ball handling and good ball movement. Hungover is an up and coming team that is capable of beating any
team in the league. They came out hot and went up 15 points. But as soon as #22 Billy Kim arrived right before halftime,
momentum shifted. He scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half and his energy on defense helped the Teddy Bears improve
to 4-1 on the season. But look out for Hungover to be a major contender in the playoffs.
Supreme Court
49
B-Team 50
Riding high from their demolishing of Atl Blaze 59 -14 last week, Supreme Court looks to be improving every week.
This game showed that they could be consistent every week. The game was close from start to finish. But thier lack of rebounding
against a very good rebounding B-Team did them in. They also couldn't keep #33 Marvin Santiago from coming in the lane
whenever he wanted. But with their scrappy defense they made it tight all the way to the end. B-Team is on a roll winning
4 straight after losing their first two games.
Pikachu 67
Lifetime
70
A Chopstix division matchup that brought the undefeated Pikachu 4-0 against the
sharp shooting Lifetime. Pikachu is having their dream season, much improved from last season and past tournament performances.
This team has always underacheived throughout the years. But the addition of #3 Trevor Calender and improved point guard play
of #6 Khoa Tran, this team looks to make a new name for themselves. But can they bring it every week? Tonight proved again
that all season long they can. But they came up a little short against a very good offensive team. Lifetime likes to shoot
from outside and run the break. And tonight they were clicking despite only 5 players available. New addition Paul Villaneuva
took over the game at the end to help end Pikachu's perfect season. Now the Atl Outkasts are the only team left undefeated.
Players of the Week:
#42
Andre Thompson 24.0 points, 7.5 rebounds
(Lifetime)
#24 Jaspal Bhathal
30 points, 10 rebounds
(Showstoppers)
#11 Thomas Byrd 29 points,
13 rebounds
(Teddy Bears)
