#04    02pts 03rbs           02stls  02blks

The Game of the Week was not a dissapointment. Both teams made an etertaining competitive game. Lifetime kept it close most of the game due to #10 Zain Hassan's 31 point effort. But the Teddy Bears overall balance and team defense was as consistent as always. Lifetime was not physical enough to win against the Teddy Bears. They had no answer for Thomas Byrd who had 19 points and 10 rebounds.

This game was a little hard to watch. Both teams seemed to be in slow motion. The score at halftime was 13 to 8. But the pace finally picked in the second half. B-Team is still trying to find their way, but made an improvement from their embarassing loss last week. Picachoo only had 1 win a last season and get a win right off the gate. We will see if Picachoo has finally decided to play as a team become more competitive this season.

Happy Market's week off did help them get a little better, but they could not make shots. Atl Blaze were more consistent from the outside and had good guard play by #14 Zaid Mithani who had 14 points.

Hungover 67
B-Team   36

box score:

#32 03pts
#33 06pts 02rbs 02asts 01stls

From the get go, Hungover proved that they are going to one of the top teams in the league. The B-Team their just formed roster looked like they had a some talent, but they had no answer for the great inside and outstide shooting by the Hungover team, lead by Chris Lee who had 5 three pointers and scored 19 points. We will see if Hungover can give Atl Outkast a challenge in their division.

29 points should tell the whole story! Atl Rat Pack's defense dominated the young showstoppers who seem to be all 1 on 1 and less team. #34 Narayana Gowde had another double double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.

#15      10pts 1rb  3asts 2stls
#1        5pts 3rbs
#6        10pts 2rbs 4asts 3stls

The reigning #1 team in Atlanta started the season business as usual with a balanced attack inside and out. #15 Thomas Byrd had 17 points and 9 rebounds to lead the way. But was the all around team talent that is too much for Max-Out to handle. Max-Out stayed in the game with #23 Bo Noung scoring 30 points, but their team defense still needs much improvement. So far Max-Out doesn't seem to have gotten better for this new season.

Atl Outkasts   66
Max-Out        46

boxscore:
Atl Outkasts
#32      12pts 1rb 6asts 3stls
#12      20pts 6rbs 1ast 1stl 1blk
#20      10pts 5rbs 1blk
#21      10pts 5rbs

Max-Out
#23      20pts 4rbs 1stl 2blks
#5        0pts 2rbs
#32      3pts 2rbs 1ast
#15      10pts 5rbs 1ast 1stl
#1        10pts 4rbs 1stl
#6        3pts 3asts

Starting the game with only 4 guys the Atl Outkasts seemed like they had 10 players on the court against Max-Out who had to play back to back games due to a no show by Picahoo. They dominated Max-Out in every part of the game from beginning to end. Tony Akins did not make it to the game until halftime, but he was not needed. The Outkast were winning by over 20 points already. The ever consistent superstar Atif Sajid scored 20 points to lead the blowout. Max-Out did not look very good today at all. With Bo Noung (scored 20 points) being the main focus for most defenses, and no other real offensive threats, this team is going to have a long season. So the Atl Outkasts still look very dominating again. We will see if they can finally take out the Teddy Bears.

#35     1pt 2rbs
#1       8pts 7rbs 1stl

Duane Rosario with his newly formed squad  looked very impresive in their first win of the new season. This team looks to sneak up and be a contender for the league championship! #10 Zain Hassan came out blazing with 21 points at halfime and finished with 27 points. Supreme Court didn't look too horrible, but their defense is still below average like Max-Out's team defense. If you want to win you have to play good team defense, especially if you don't have a whole lot of firepower on offense.

Player of the week:

#10 Zain Hassan - 27 points
